Serenity Communities Corporation is a full-service mental-health housing alternative offering a tranquil environment, staff care, and well-being programs for sponsored residents.
Where is Serenity Communities located?
We are based in Morgan County, Alabama. Our mailing address is 6275 University Dr, Suite 37-522, Huntsville, AL 35806.
What geographic areas do you serve?
The Huntsville Metro Area, North Alabama, and the Tennessee Valley.
What type of housing do you provide?
Housing for sponsored displaced veterans (including HUD-VASH), temporary housing for qualified displaced individuals in crisis, and temporary and permanent housing for EOS participants.
Who can contact Serenity Communities?
Anyone — individuals, families, veterans, case managers, agencies, and organizations.

How do I apply for housing?

Is housing temporary or permanent?
Both, depending on the program. Temporary and permanent options are available for some participants.

Can someone refer a resident, or can an agency contact you on someone's behalf?
Yes. Families, agencies, and organizations are welcome to contact us on behalf of an individual.
Veteran housing
Do you provide housing for veterans?
Yes, we provide housing for sponsored displaced military veterans, including HUD-VASH.
What is HUD-VASH?
HUD-VASH is a joint program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs that pairs housing assistance with VA case management for eligible veterans.

What mental-health related services are available?
Mental-health consultations and related services, staff care, and well-being programs for sponsored residents.
Does Serenity Communities provide counseling?
Our counselors can help residents explore the root of their issues and work toward results. Contact us for details about what's available for your situation.
Is Serenity Communities a hospital or medical facility?
No. We are a housing and support organization, not a hospital or emergency medical provider.
What should I do during a mental-health emergency?
Call 911 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. You can also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
